Online Shopping... Yes Please!

These are some of my favorite websites to buy make-up because they run sales and specials all the time! You can find amazing deals and get tons of products, and some samples thrown in for free, for less than 20$!

Urban Decay is a great website to check out because their products are amazing, some of the best make-up I have ever used! Their eyeliner pencils are like silk and do not smudge or fade and their eye shadows are so bright and are easy to apply. There are so many amazing products to choose from, they can be pricey but well worth the money! Urban Decays website runs sales pretty often and always has products of some sort under their sale tab. A great website with great products!

My next favorite place to shop online is Ulta! They probably sell every brand of make-up and hair products you could think of and they always run sales online as well. They have online coupons that you can add to your checkout and sales like BOGO at the same time.

Another favorite is AMAZON! Yes, Amazon.com is an amazing place to buy make-up and accessories of any kind! When it comes to the brand name make-up the prices are, 98% of the time, the same price as the brand names official website. But I have found brand and off brand eye shadow palettes or single containers for less than 1$ on Amazon. I got a set of professional grade make-up brushes for 6$ with the original price being 28$. So yeah, a good website to check out!

♥ Just wanted to say that these websites are not mine, I am not affiliated with Urban Decay, Ulta, or Amazon.com. Just spreading the love :D

Two Things I CAN NOT Live Without!!!!!

Organic Expeller Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil... is amazing! I found out about this wonderful product a couple months ago from my Mother In-Law ( Thanks!!! ;)  ) and have been using it everyday since! It is such a versatile product! I use it: 1. As a leave in deep conditioner for my color treated hair 2. A daily face and body moisturizer 3. Shaving Cream for my legs 4. An overnight under eye oil. This is a website that is all about the benefits of Coconut Oil > Coconut Oil Information  < You can get Organic Expeller Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil from most Health Food stores like Whole Foods or Earth Fare.

Vaseline... Yep, That's right... Vaseline! It is a wonder product, something every women should have in their home!! I use it for: 1. Make-up Remover 2. Around hair line when Dying hair 3. Moisturize cuticles 4. Rub on hands and feet to keep them soft and smooth 5. Keeps my Nail Polish easily accessible by keeping the lid free of dried nail polish. It's amazing and so much cheaper than make-up remover! I have a small size for make-up removal and a big tub for moisturizing! Love, Love, love it! Here's a couple websites all about the uses for Vaseline!

~Au Naturel ~

I figured I would do a natural look this time since it is easy, gorgeous, and EASY! lol A natural make-up look is something that I think all women should be able to do not only because it accentuates your natural beauty, but it makes you feel good walking around looking gorgeous with barely anything on your face! At least, that's how I feel when I go Au Naturel    :P Here's how to get the look:

Too Faced Naked Eye eyeshadow collection

  • Start with a clean, fresh face! I used my Hard Candy ♥ Sheer Envy Primer on my eyelids.
  • I did not use any foundation because the brand I bought makes me break out :/ So if you would like to use foundation then go for it :D It will even out your complexion and hide any blemishes!...And cover up/lighten freckles in my case :P
  • First apply "In The Buff" to the eyelid staying under the crease.
  • Then apply "Birthday Suit" along the crease and to the outer corner of the eyelid. You are mimicking the Smokey Eye technique for this. You want to keep "Birthday Suit" only IN the crease and along the outside corner of the eyelid!!!
  • Take "Satin Sheets" and brush it against the Brow Line for brow definition if you want!
  • I added a TINY, super small amount of a generic Green eyeliner pencil on the inside of the lower lash line. That is completely optional! :D
  • Add some Mascara
And Voila! Finished! You get your natural beauty enhanced in just seconds with very little product! Enjoy :D

I added Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Miracle Mauve on my lips
I'm not sure why it looks like there is purple on the lower lash line... but it should be green... ;P

You can see the hint of Green on the lower lash line

♥ My Attempt At The Peacock Eye and Smokey Eye In Blue ♥

I will make videos for the harder make-up instructions along with the written instructions! Just to make it easier :D I will upload the videos as soon as I can!!!
Peacock Eye

Smokey Eye in Blue

The Peacock Eye was a lot of fun to recreate! It was a little time consuming, but nothing too crazy! It's definitely a "Night" look, I wouldn't wear it to go grocery shopping or to the bank lol The Smokey Eye in Blue  looked so amazing! I'm going to wear it today I loved it so much! It's very simple and is so striking without being too much like the Peacock Eye ;P I'm going to go ahead and break down the Smokey Blue Eye first since it is a lot faster than the Peacock. Here's how you get the look:

  • (1) Using a small make-up brush apply #1 all over eyelid stopping at the crease.
  • (2) After step 1, Take #2 and, starting at the mid point of the crease, dab #2 towards the outer corner of the eyelid. Apply twice to make sure the color "pops"
  • (3) Next take #3 and, following a normal smokey eye technique, apply it at the outer eyelid using upward strokes towards the brow (not up to the brow). I use circular strokes when making a smokey eye, but everyone has a different style :D Just figure out what works best for you!
  • (4) Take #4 and apply on top of #3 using the same instructions as Step 3.
  • (5) I used a Blue Cream Eyeliner against the lash line, but you can use whatever eyeliner you prefer!
  • (6) Using an Angled make-up brush, take #1 and, starting from the inner corner of the LOWER eyelid, apply #1 against the lash line stopping at the mid point of the lower lash line.
  • (7) Take #3, still using an Angled make-up brush and staying on the lower eyelid, and apply against the lower lash line starting at the mid point of the lash line going towards the outer corner of the eye. Smudge if needed for a more dramatic look.
  • (8) Take #5 with a small make-up brush and apply right under and against the brow line.

Applicator for the Physicians Formula Eyeliner

Physicians Formula Cream Eyeliner. I used the color at the top (Blue)

Angled Make-up Brush

Small Round Make-Up Brush

That's how you get the Smokey Eye in Blue look! It looks so striking and it's so simple! As with all of these different make-up styles, you can tweak it and change the colors to anything you want!

Now the Peacock Eye...

Hard Candy ♥ Stroke of Gorgeous in Storm (purple)

Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner in Forever (gold)
Angled Make-up Brush

Small Rounded Make-up Brush
Hard Candy ♥ Walk the Line

  1. Take # 1 and cover the eyelid stopping at the crease
  2. Take #3 and use the smokey eye technique, Starting at the outer corner of the eyelid use upward strokes toward the brow (but not up to the brow) and applying some in the crease (only to the mid point of the crease)
  3. Following the line that Step 2 (#3 color) made, apply #2 above the line creating an arch starting from the outer corner extending all the way to the inner corner of the eyelid. Creating an arch.
  4. Then take #7 and follow the same instructions as Step 3, but above the Green line (#2) like in the picture.
  5. Next take #6 and starting from the inner corner of the eyelid, apply on top of the pink line made in the last step until you reach the mid point of the eyelid... Refer to the picture above...
  6. After those steps have been completed take #4 and dab from the inner corner of the eyelid to the middle of the eyelid staying against the lash line.
  7. Take your liquid eyeliner, I used Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner in a Gold, and draw 3 tear drop shapes, placing them above but touching the crease of the eyelid.
  8. Take another colored Liquid Liner, I used Hard Candy ♥ Walk The Line in a Teal Blue color, and just put a dot in the middle of the 3 Tear Drops.
  9. Taking your gold eyeliner place four dots starting from the inner corner, following the crease, to the middle point of the crease. Wave until dry
  10. Take your blue eyeliner and place 4 dots above and under the Golden dots
  11. Using an Angled make-up brush, take #3 and apply against the LOWER lash line from outer corner to the inner corner.
  12. Take #5, still using the angled brush, and apply from the outer corner, against the LOWER lash line, until you reach the mid point of the lower lash line.
  13. Take your Gold eyeliner and place 4 dots against the lower lash line starting from the outer corner extending to the mid point of the lash line.
  14. The Final Step: Take a Purple colored Eyeliner, I used Hard Candy ♥ Stroke of Gorgeous in Storm (purple), and apply against the lash line of the top eyelid.

And that is all! Phew...If there are any questions about the instructions do not hesitate to ask through e-mail or comments! You can tweak this anyway you would like! Just have fun with it :D

♥ Marble Nails ♥

Black and White
This is very messy and time consuming and wastes a lot of nail polish, but if none of that matters to you then ENJOY! lol I think it is a neat technique, not something I would do everyday, but every once in a while it would be a nice change from normal polished nails. This video will teach you how to create the marble nail:

These are my 5 attempts at the marble nail technique. I used different colors to see which one worked the best and so far black and white is my favorite!
