Hard Candy ♥ Sheer Envy Skin Illuminating Primer
Color Concept™ Color Palette
Brownish Black
Nicole Miller Eyeliner in Charcoal
This, Reverse Rose Eye, is something I just literally threw together. I started with the intentions of redoing the Rose Eye look to go out to dinner, but instead switched the Green and Pinks ( see Rose Eye post) place on my eyelid and added some extra Oomph! I will break it down for you!:- Always start with a fresh, clean face!
- I applied the Hard Candy ♥ Sheer Envy Primer to my eyelid
- Apply #2 all over your eyelid until just slightly above the crease. You want it to be dark enough to see but not too dark that it takes numerous applications of #1 for it (#1) to show.
- Apply #1 in the crease extending towards the outer corner of the eyelid
- After you have finished step 4, apply another coat of #1 at the outside corner of the eyelid incorporating upward strokes towards (but not up to) the brow line. Apply until dark enough to cover #2 from Step 3.
- After step 5, take #3 and starting from the inside corner of the eyelid, brush #3 up towards the brow (but not up to) and follow the curve of the crease until you reach JUST a little past the middle of your crease. I personally dabbed the color along that line with a small make-up brush because it keeps the color bright and I just like brushes better than sponge applicators. But the point of this color, and where the color is placed, is to be striking!
Sorry for the bullets...This picture ^^^ messed up the numbering...
- (7) Next take #4 and brush it UNDER but against the brow line to enhance those brows! :D
- (8) For the bottom eyelid, Take an angled brush and apply #3 against the lower lash line until you go a little past the middle of the lower lash line. Do not smudge!
- (9) After all the steps have been completed and, hopefully, turned out exactly how you wanted, apply your preferred eyeliner and mascara to the top lash line and the inside rim of the lower lid. I used my normal mascara (Maybelline Great Lash in Brownish Black and Nicole Miller eyeliner in Charcoal)
I know that this was a little lengthy and I hope, once again, that these instructions were clear and helped you reach the end product! Tweak and reinvent this look as you please and if you want post some pictures or instructions of your creation!
