Super Easy At Home French Manicure...

Pretty simple, start with a clean, dry nail

Scotch Tape or Masking Tape works well. Make sure there is a straight side of the tape... jagged edges will not work well here...  :P

Stick the tape to your skin and remove. Do this a few times to lessen the stickiness so it doesn't take a feat of strength to take it off of your nail

Stick the flat edge of the tape right where the nail separates from the "pulp" of your nail
This is the line mentioned in the instructions above

You can use whatever color you would like for your Tips. Typically a traditional French Manicure is White Tips with a clear coat over top. They also have an American Manicure which is the same White Tips but instead of your natural nail color you would use a pink tinted base coat.

Take whatever color you prefer and brush it on the tip of the nail

VERY IMPORTANT!! Take the tape off almost immediately after applying the nail polish so it wont dry and cause "tendrils" when the tape is coming off of the nail. If you leave the tape on after it has started to dry it will cause clumps and you will not get that smooth finish!

If you mess up you can take a Q-Tip and dip it in some Nail Polish Remover, squeeze out most of the nail polish remover from the Q-Tip while flattening the cotton, and clean up the nail by sweeping the Q-Tip along the line.

Apply a Clear Coat to all nails

And Voila!
